Cyclone Relief Fund Raffle

One of my proudest projects to date, I was tasked with building a donation/raffle site for the Gisborne/Hawkes Bay flood relief fund in response to the early 2023 cyclone which affected many parts of New Zealand.

The site included a simple form with entry details and a donation field, and required a database setup (using Supabase) to pool this data. We opted to use Stripe to handle payments, with the site raising over $600,000 in just over a week.

This was my first time implementing a payment integration, which added extra pressure to the already tight deadline presented. However the project proved to be an excellent learning experience and felt great to contribute to such an incredible charitable initiative.
